Indovina?! Torno a Sansepolcro in 91 giorni!

Wow, look who's already counting. My goodness - just a little excited? Sì! Sì! Sì! Assolutamente sì!

I'll be in Sansepolcro from late August to late November helping with Meredith Abroad's latest addition - a semester program in Italy! Now technically it's still quite a while off, but in the midst of my summer job hunt (that, unfortunately, continues still), I can't help but keep counting down the days in the back - and sometimes the front - of my head. I even started a suitcase a few days back.

Non mi credi? Non lo so che dire, ma è vero! Maybe I should channel this energy toward more imminent needs, like the post-undergrad unpacking/room cleaning project that is on the brink of completion - but not yet finished. But have you ever tried cleaning your room with Italy on the brain? Non è possibile!

Needless to say (but I'll still say it), I cannot wait! In 91 days I'll be back in beloved Sansepolcro for the third time, but seeing it in a new way: through the eyes of le studentesse. How exciting! To get to see the joy and wonder on their faces as they see Sansepolcro for the very first time, to hear their squeals of disbelief as they try to believe what their senses are telling them, and to walk the cobblestone streets with fresh feet, like someone that has never felt the sensation before. Che bello!

Of course, once my charges are safely conducted to the Palazzo Alberti, I'll be running up Via Donato Sbragi to Sara and Patrizio's house, then hugging la mia famiglia italiana and covering Leonardo, Ginevra, and Veronica with kisses! And once I'm in Italy, I'll also be mere train rides from Milano (Amber!), Siena (Siena School!), and other places I've made amici italiani. Sono una ragazza fortunatissima, sì?

And now I really am going to try and transform this mess of a room into a state of perfection. A presto, amici!
